Error message in Excel: "...addin could not be found." or PowerPoint hangs

Problem

• When starting Excel I receive the message "…addin could not be found. Check the spelling of the file name, and verify that the file location is correct."
• Or PowerPoint hangs after inserting a chart when PGP Desktop is installed.

Solution

Please upgrade to a current version of PGP. Symantec has integrated PGP into its Encryption products.
