think-cell and Getty Images partner to improve PowerPoint presentations
Berlin/New York, December 21, 2020
think-cell, the gold standard for charting and layout software in Microsoft PowerPoint, and Getty Images, a world leader in visual communication, today announced the launch of their integrated product offerings with the advent of the brand-new think-cell 11.
The integration allows think-cell users to intuitively search, view, and insert images from their Getty Images account without ever leaving PowerPoint. This unified search service significantly lowers the barrier to using high-quality images for impactful presentations. Not only do users save time by avoiding the manual search-download-and-insert loop through the web browser, but their organization can now also ensure that only carefully selected and properly licensed images are used in corporate documents.
We are very excited about the launch of our partnership with think-cell and the close integration of our products. Getty Images initiated this project because there is a huge overlap in our customer base and the user benefit is immediately evident. Thanks to think-cell, integrating the premier image source with the premier presentation software now works like a breeze.
Several think-cell features further optimize the use of Getty Images's digital content. Smart automatic cropping maintains the primary area of interest in the center of an image. Also, users will not have to worry about presentation file size as think-cell automatically downloads the image at the ideal resolution and will update if a higher quality version is necessary.
"When designing our new image feature for think-cell 11, it was clear from the beginning that our users would need seamless access to their favorite digital asset service. For many of our customers this is Getty Images," said Markus Hannebauer, think-cell's CEO. "The powerful Getty Images API makes it possible to securely tap into their search and download engine and made our first integration with a third-party service a really easy one."
The new Getty Images integration is available to all think-cell users with a valid Getty Images subscription after updating to think-cell 11 at no additional costs.
