Berlin, November 7, 2003
The Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Architecture and Software Technology (FIRST) today celebrated its 20th anniversary and looked back on two decades of continuous success.
FIRST's director, Prof. Dr. Stefan Jähnichen said, "For the last 20 years, FIRST has been a premier institution for academic and industrial research in understanding and mastering complex systems. Our partners can rely on that."
The special relationship between FIRST and its spin-off think-cell has led to numerous joint academic contributions, particularly in the area of intelligent systems. These contributions continue to inspire think-cell's innovative products.
