Therefore we are seeking a dynamic, creative and results driven Senior SEO Marketing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a proven track record of driving increased website traffic through organic search. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of both the technical aspects of SEO as well as the ability to execute content production to enhance search engine rankings and ultimately drive user and revenue growth.  

This position requires fluency in German.

What will you do?

• Own SEO strategy

  • Formulate and implement SEO and digital content strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive organic traffic, and enhance visibility of our software.  
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, search engine algorithms, and best practices to ensure the continuous optimization of our website.  

  Content Development and Management 

  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify content opportunities and ensure content is optimized for relevant keywords. 
  • Set-up a strong cadence of developing compelling best-in-class content that establishes think-cell’s authority within search rankings, as well as a leader in the charting and productivity space.  
  • Ensure that SEO content aligns with business objectives and target audience needs. 
  • Leverage SEO content across wider digital content landscape and channels to multiply impact of SEO content creation.  

  Technical SEO Ownership

  • Conduct website audits to identify technical SEO issues and provide actionable recommendations.  
  • Collaborate with the development team to implement technical SEO enhancements.  
  • Understand which factors impact SEO performance such as meta descriptions, page titles, and link building and implement optimizations across our website.  

  Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Utilize analytics tools to monitor, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics and performance indicators.  
  • Provide regular insights and recommendations to improve overall SEO performance and achieve business goals. 

  Collaboration and Cross-Functional Communication
  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, development, and marketing, to ensure SEO considerations are integrated into all aspects of our online presence.  
  • Communicate SEO strategies, challenges, and successes to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 
  • Own engagement and relationship with SEO & content focused agencies and/or freelancers as required. 

Your profile

• 5+ years of experience in an SEO role with proven success in optimizing content to increase organic website traffic.  
• Proven track record of developing and delivering compelling, best-in-class content with measurable results. 
• Dynamic, high-energy personality with a positive “can do” attitude and an ability to deeply understand and analyze SEO and Content issues and opportunities 
• Player mentality - no job is too big or small 
• Good understanding of our customer’s workflows and challenges with data-driven PowerPoint chart creation. Ideally fueled by own profound experiences in data-driven chart creation - with the use of think-cell or similar tools would be a plus. 
• Work from think-cell’s headquarters in Berlin 
• Fluent in English and German, with other European languages as a plus
