We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Account Executive to own our go-to-market activity for global Enterprise financial services customers headquartered in Europe. The primary focus will be on driving revenue growth through sales activities, with a customer-centric mindset that includes parts of Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success. The ideal candidate will exhibit qualities of acquiring and growing a book of customers, owning the entire sales process from pipeline generation to closure, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

In this position you will:

  • Manage and expand a territory with a focus on balancing new customer acquisition with nurturing existing accounts.  
  • Own the entire sales process from beginning to end, including prospecting, lead generation, qualification, value proposition presentation, solution demonstration, negotiation, and closing. 
  • Outreach to new teams at existing customers to explain the value proposition, demonstrate solutions, and convert prospects into loyal customers. 
  • Receive guidance and support from leadership but exercise independent thinking and initiative to achieve sales goals. 
  • Run account forensics to enable a data-driven sales approach that is customized to the individual customer. 
  • Help customers build and construct business plans that generate successful funding of enterprise license purchases.
  • Execute strategic sales plays tailored to specific customer profiles. 
  • Follow up on leads and inbound requests in your territory and maximize conversion rate of trials (e.g. adjust email sequences and messaging). 
  • Localize and run marketing campaigns with support from our central team. 
  • Coordinate and enable post-deal product adoption (e.g. trainings) supported by a central enablement team.
  • Monitor customer health to detect and prevent churn. 

Your profile

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a commercial role (e.g. account management or sales) in a software or tech company, ideally in a startup or growth environment.  
  • Winning attitude with proven achievement of revenue targets of >$1mm for more than 3 years.
  • Experience in navigating complex organizational structures and corporate dynamics of large global customers. 
  • Excellent virtual communication and presentation skills with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships. 
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset. 
  • Appreciation of our product – willingness to understand think-cell’s product and value is a must (don’t worry, it’s very intuitive), experience with think-cell a plus. 
  • Willingness to work on-site in Berlin, minimum of 3 days/week. 
  • Understanding of common GTM tools (e.g. Salesforce.com, Outreach.io) and proficiency in Microsoft Office. 
  • Experience working with financial services customers is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and German is a must, while fluency in additional European languages is a plus. 


This position is based in think-cell’s headquarters in Berlin.
