ISO C++ Meeting in Hagenberg, Austria 2025

February 10, 2025

In February 2025, think-cell participated in the Winter ISO C++ meeting held in Hagenberg, Austria. The ISO C++ committee, officially known as WG21, is responsible for evolving the C++ programming language through collaboration among experts worldwide.

Jonathan Müller, think-cell's Software Engineer and now the chair of the std::ranges study group within the C++ Standards Committee, actively contributed to discussions on advancing C++ ranges and other core language features.

The meeting focused on ongoing developments for C++20 and C++23, with particular emphasis on the evolution of C++ ranges and new language proposals. These discussions are essential for refining the language and ensuring that C++ continues to meet the needs of modern developers.

think-cell has been supporting the German national body of the ISO C++ committee since 2013, ensuring Germany's contribution to the international standardization of C++.
