C++ Meetup in Helsinki, Finland 2025

February 4, 2025

We kicked off our 2025 event season with our first-ever C++ Meetup in Helsinki on February 4th, hosted in collaboration with the C++ Helsinki Community.

It was a great opportunity to meet local C++ professionals and enthusiasts, exchange ideas, and dive into technical discussions. Jonathan Müller gave his talk on “Overengineering max(a, b),” covering mixed comparison functions, common references, and Rust-style lifetime annotations.

We’re grateful to the C++ Helsinki Community for their support in making this event happen and to everyone who joined us for the evening. It was also a pleasure for Julia and Anastasia from our tech recruiting team to connect with attendees, exchange ideas with experts who share a passion for the language, and share insights about our C++ Developer role.

We truly enjoyed our time in Helsinki and look forward to more meetups in the future.
