C++ and System Software Summit, online 2020
December 4-5, 2020
On December 4th, our founder & CTO Arno took part in C++ and System Software Summit for the first time. Chaired by C++ creator Bjarne Stroustrup, the 2-day long conference brought together 600 people in Shenzhen, China and 300 developers online. There were 3 tracks with 33 speakers from all over the world.
Around 200 developers attended Arno’s talk "A Practical Approach to Error Handling". In his presentation, he talked about the think-cell method and how this can be used to write more reliable software with less effort.
It was a great experience for our team and we hope that next year – global circumstances allowing – we will be able to visit the Shenzhen conference in person.
