EAT++ at TU Kaiserslautern, Germany 2013

December 13, 2013

On December 13, 2013 we paid a visit to Technische Universität Kaiserslautern. In his lecture "Layout without LaTeX: Intuitive and Interactive" Dr. Sebastian Theophil, senior software engineer at think-cell, presented research findings on the topic of automated slide layout. We were especially pleased to be able to hold this event at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in Kaiserslautern as part of the lecture "Intelligent User Interfaces Design and Implementation" by Dr. Daniel Sonntag.

After the lecture, think-cell offered up a delicious lunch buffet just outside the lecture hall. Students, academic staff, and professors of computer science, as well as DFKI employees who happened upon us, joined for lunch and conversation for hours to follow.
